Brooklyn Heights Brownstone
On the hunt for the perfect Brooklyn Brownstone, my clients chose an appealing Anglo-Italinate style home in charming Brooklyn Heights that beautifully fit the bill. Only in need of immediate cosmetic updates, we first focused on the fun stuff: space planning and decorating all living and bedroom spaces to create a livable home that is both cohesive and cheerful for this kind, young family. A plumbing leak quickly nudged along a second phase of more involved renovations which completely overhauled the parlor level and primary and powder baths. We focused our attention on modern living needs and eagerly allowed the traditional bones and original details to balance out a decorative plan that prioritized a lighter hand with touch of whimsy.
