Upper East Side Cosmetic Renovation
In early 2021, our clients did what any ambitious couple would do peak pandemic: they got married, bought an apartment, and switched jobs all in the same calendar year. Easy, right? We were thrilled to take a small piece of the puzzle off their plate and assisted with the cosmetic renovation and full-scale decoration plan for their new home. The apartment’s kitchens and baths had recently been renovated, so we focused on updates such as custom millwork, fixed electrical upgrades and additions, refinishing floors, replacing doors and adjusting decorative moulding details, and other manageable improvements to make the space tailored to their taste and needs. For the decoration plan, we turned a once neutral space into a memorable palette of lovely blues, greens, and aquas throughout. We incorporated a variety of patterns and textures to connect one space to the next and allow all the distinct rooms in the apartment to sing as one sophisticated idea.
